The money in this field of work is a call center environment or the web based equivalent which earns it's revenue from volume. If a case has 100 different variables which need to be accounted for the CSR has access to 10 of them and acts off even less than that in most cases. I can say from both personal experience and educated face value that the majority of human beings which "review" these reports are acting on auto-pilot reflexes. The fact that Amazon allows players to report other players and get them banned with little to no investigation is awful for customers and will kill your game over time. Your banning system based on mass reports rewards exploiters and bullies.
All Elysian company had to do was get 20+ people to report me arbitrarily and I get banned with no explanation. How is that right as a paying customer?!Īgain, I spoke in global chat about a company that is known for exploiting named Elysian that changes its name to reset influence such as "Blood of Elysian" etc. This puts me in a position where all it takes for me to get permanently banned is for a company to decide to abuse mass reporting against me for any reason. By the time a moderator gets back to me, my temporary ban will expire and I will have a permanent strike on my account. I recently wrote this email to Amazon, "It has been about 24 hours since my 3 day ban and no moderator has gotten back to me after I submitted my appeal.
